London’s Colourful Houses
Notting Hill is a famous district in West London within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It is renowned for being the most cosmopolitan residential area of London that hosts the Portobello Market and the annual Notting Hill Carnival.
This colourful neighbourhood has become an affluent and trendy area of London, mainly due to its charming Victorian townhouses and restaurants. Since, the social-media influencers have stepped into this area for fashion photography, this neighbourhood has become a tourist attraction where people come and take pictures in-front of random colourful houses. You’ll usually encounter a number of photographers in this area doing photoshoots for various purposes, however, the residents love this attention. Why not, the more the media, the higher the real estate prices.

Notting Hill Neighbourhood
So, you have decided to check out this fashionable residential area of London, but not sure where to find these colourful houses in Notting Hill? Don’t worry, it’s very easy, let me take you there: –
Once you’ve come out of the Notting Hill Gate Station, start walking towards the South Side that leads you towards the Farmer’s Market and wander the streets behind the market. Take your first left, you’ll see a few colourful houses at your sight, that’s where you’ve to go. Try Uxbridge Street, Jameson Street, Hillgate Street, Callcort Street and Hillgate Place. There are tons of colourful houses where you can take plenty of pictures and admire the sight of Victorian townhouses or simply enjoy a coffee or drink at one of the cute pubs in the area.
There are a few pubs that serve really delicious lunch menu where you enjoy your afternoon once you have browsed this area. I came across The Hillgate Pub and their Fish and Chips were the best.
